Jose Silva serves his clients in Daytona Beach and Orlando, across the U.S. and internationally as the Founder and CEO of his firm, Silva Fiduciary Advisors. Prior to founding the firm, he worked in finance internationally - Europe, Latin America and the U.S. - for over twenty five years. José obtained his MBA from UCLA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from California State University, Northridge. He completed advanced studies in business, languages and the liberal arts in Spain, France and Costa Rica. He is in the process of completing the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation by the summer of 2019.
José excels at drawing upon his diverse experience to develop personalized solutions by placing the client's best interest above any other consideration. His goal is simple: "To educate and serve my clients so that realistic expectations are understood; to review and attend to all relevant aspects of the clients' finances; and to utilize financial planning as the vehicle for setting, monitoring and achieving client goals and objectives." Jose works holistically with his clients' other professionals, especially their attorneys and accountants, to ensure informed, sound and optimal decision making.”
José is actively involved in his community: Adjunct Professor of Finance at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; former President of the Daytona Beach West Rotary Club and Business Network International, BNI; active member of various local not-for-profit and faith organizations. José periodically holds financial literacy workshops for high school students. He is fluent in five languages and normally serves clients in their preferred language.
As the eldest of eight siblings, José has always cherished the family as his number one priority. He and his wife, Diana have two children: Natalia, 25 and Sebastian, 21. He enjoys traveling the world with the family, learning about other cultures, surfing, and photography. The Silvas reside in the Daytona Beach area since 2000 and have been visiting family in the area for over 30 years.
